Live brine shrimp are an ideal food for baby fish or fish that will only accept live foods. In order to use the hatchery, a suitable air pump is required. We sell these kits without an air pump, or with an air pump if required. Please select the option from the drop down menu when ordering. Both options include the hatchery with stable base, airline, check valve and air flow control valve. The hatching vessel is 5 cm in diameter and the total height is 28 cm. Directions for Use: 1. Add water to the incubator tank, and add about 10g of coarse salt to dissolve in advance. 2. Connect the air pump to the air inlet hole at the bottom of the incubator to adjust the air volume to an appropriate amount. The ideal temperature is 28 to 30°C. 3. Add approximately 3 to 5 g of brine shrimp eggs and incubate for about 36 to 48 hours (depending on the incubation temperature and the quality of the shrimp eggs). 4. Collection operation: After hatching of the brine shrimp eggs, stop pumping and let stand for about 10 to 15 minutes. When the hatched shrimps sink to the bottom and the shrimp shells float up, the original air inlet at the bottom of the incubator (air conditioning valve) The larvae can be fed by collecting larvae of the brine shrimp. 5. Uneaten brine shrimp larvae should be stored in the refrigerator to freeze. Precautions: 1. Adjust the input air volume for best results. If the input air volume is too fast or too slow, it will affect the hatching time and survival rate of the brine shrimp eggs. Please adjust the input air volume with the air flow control valve. 2. The bottom air supply port is connected with a simple check valve, which will effectively prevent water backflow in the incubator. 3. It can also be installed in an aquarium and hatched at a constant temperature in the aquarium. Please Note: Brine shrimp eggs and salt are NOT INCLUDED with this kit and need to be purchased separately if required.
