AST Hand Made 100% Acrylic Spawning Mops

Rather than using live plants, many breeders simulate plants by using spawning mops. These are more convenient as the mop can be easily removed complete with any eggs to a fry grow-out tank when spawning is finished, and they can be sterilized after use, unlike live plants.

Approximately 8 inches(190mm) long size may vary slightly as these are all handmade. Different colours have a different amount of strands due to various material thickness .

Style	Our spawning mops are available in 2 styles: Sinking, and stick on with a suction cup attached so you can fix it to the sides or front of your aquarium.
Colour	Available in olive, khaki, and black but can be made to any colour or size required, if you are looking for a particular colour or size please don't hesitate to get in touch with your exact requirements and we will do our very best to make them to suit your needs.
Materials	All our mops are made with 100% acrylic wool which is totally safe for use in any aquarium setup.
More Info	Before use, boil some water in a large pot. Once it has reached boiling, remove the pot from heat (remove the suction cup from your mop) and soak your spawning mop in the hot water for about 15 minutes. This is to clean and sterilize the mops. Your new mops may take a little while to sink once added to the tank this can be helped by squeezing as much air out of the mop as possible.
